ABOUT L-346: Maple

Maple ♦

Child of Growth

Maple is a reckless, sharp-willed wyvern whose heart clings tightly to those he loves. Though cunning and distrustful, with a short temper and little patience for selfish or loud people

He often smiles with a sly, knowing edge, sometimes pretending to be weaker or taking on gentler forms just to prove that no matter what shape he’s in, he is — and will always be — strong.

He became the Legendary of Growth by believing in endless potential — the idea that both he and his loved ones could keep growing, like trees stretching upward forever. His symbol, the maple leaf, represents change and resilience, while his shadowy roots, shaped like grasping hands, reach out to bind what he cannot bear to lose. These roots follow the people he loves, gently or desperately holding them close, a power born from attachment and the fear of being left behind.

Maple’s shadow fragments are split-off parts of himself, created to protect and anchor these two important figures:

Alya
Manifests as “roots” — resembling Maple’s original shadow form. Alya loves Maple for exactly who he is, seeing him as something divine, almost god-like. Her love surpasses any ordinary bond: it’s more than family, more than romance (even though they’re not lovers!), reaching a profound spiritual connection. The shadow that protects Alya holds its own consciousness and personality, closely mirroring Maple’s main self.

Phere
Takes the form of a “crown,” specially reshaped to align with Phere’s nature and desires. Instead of reflecting Maple, this shadow fragment symbolizes Phere’s own identity and will. It seems Phere can reshape and command it with his own intent, sometimes transforming the fragment into weapons like swords or sharp claws, using it as a personal extension of his power.
