TRAITS AND BONUSES
LABYRINTHIAN FORM NO SFX
This is a pre-release of the new LABYRINTHIAN SPECIES. Joining the ranks of Treatlings and Divers, this Stygian-adjacent species has broken containment from the deepest uncharted layers of the labyrinth below, where once primordial nightmares without shape or coherent form existed. A thread has come loose - the labyrinth snaps and folds and creates a new familiar shape.
Labyrinthian (species) unlike Elder Stygian counterparts are a little more flawed - even their Stygian "disguse" form gives away their true nature. It can be said while they did their best to create a Stygian-like disguise, something went just a little extra wrong with their formation, and created a near-perfect amalgamation instead. Even staring at their disgused Stygian form is more than often, unsettling, as if able to percieve beyond the thin veil of its disguise near instantly. Like Divers, instead of delving downwards into nightmares, Labyrinthians are Stygian mimics delving upwards from the unstructured chaos of the abyss into the realm of formed nightmares.

INHERITANCES AND IC EFFECTS:
[ Void Space Aether (LIMIT 5) ]: - Allows ANY Stygian with aether parts or shadow parts (such as Mimic) to be replaced with Void space aether
- Affects the following (PICK ONE):
- All Stygian with space or ghost aether parts such as Spectral, Wraith, Void, Wishing, Primordial Bat
- All Stygian with shadow aether parts as Mimic.
- Elemental insides, Exposed Aether, Corrupted Aether, or Ghost traits (can be combined with molting body where applicable)
- Turns your choice of the above (the aether parts) into Void Space Aether - a DARK SHADOW (ie dark black, dark navy, dark purple) Aether base with coloured or white stars and dark coloured space markings/texture. Must remain DARK SHADOWY BASE similar to the Stygian above (the stars can be light). Can be semi-transparent. Should still be wispy like exposed aether.
- Can be used on existing Stygian, alt forms, and new Guardian Stygian.
- The countdown affects both for example: you could use one for an existing Stygian, and one for a Guardian blessing, that would be 2 of the 5 limit.
- Please when using make sure the person who is using your blessing has a screenshot of your permission to use this trait during redeems.
[ Primordial Inheritance ]: All Guardian Stygian created from this one may inherit the Primordial trait. [ Quantum Subspecies ] : Subspecies inheritable from this Stygian: Void, Wraith, Spectral, Mimic, Wishing, Operator, Regular [ Labyrinthian Herald (Background Lore) ]: The first amalgamation to escape containment from deep beneath, a word is whispered of its name - Labyrinthian - like a curse - something even nightmares cannot touch or bestow. It slinks in its disguise, unsettling, a god of the unnamed and unknown, with dominion over only unspeakable void. (TLDR; this half-formed labyrinth child got kicked out of its "home", it swears its super powerful or something but cant explain where it came from)
[ Boundless Exploration - ie in Questing/ IC ONLY) ]: Claiming [Space] as its domain in the nightmares, it embodies both the joy of space exploration and the terror of the expanse unknown. Its true form is unspeakable in shape and size, but there is always an impression of it even in its Stygian disguse form. A deep hunger lurks within as it travels the expanse, to seek, to explore, to become, claiming metaphorical and sometimes literal nightmare manifestations of stars and planets as its own.
