Lady of the Wrecks

Muireann is a Stygiann that can be primarily found in her human avatar form, a dark-haired young woman with mismatched clothing cobbled together from finds within the numerous shipwrecks off the cost of An Tra Briste. Patches of blue-silver, or green-silver dermal denticles--"skin teeth"--can be found across her skin in places. Signs of her other, arguably more threatening form. Of course, just seeing her smile, or talk, flashing rows of sharp fangs, can prove even in her human state Muireann's bite is nothing to scoff at.

The actual Stygian form, complete with shark tail and fins, is largely reserved for when Muireann is swimming and does not require the useful tools that are opposable thumbs. She is a far faster swimmer in this form, and far more capable of either out maneuvering, out swimming, or even combating the other aquatic predators within the deeps. It is common, then, for her to swim out to a wreck in her shark form and explore as much of it as she can as such. Usually, she'll collect items of interest as she goes, putting them in bags or tying with ropes she brought with her. Then in human form, she'll grab whatever she couldn't without hands, swimming up for air as needed. Back to shark, swim back.

It's a practiced, and effective method that has enabled her to begin mentally mapping out and exploring the countless wrecks that litter the stormy waters. If questioned, 'Wreck Diver' is even the prime profession she will give, followed perhaps by 'Librarian.'

As it is, she mentions that one far more reluctantly, and preferably amongst company she holds some level of trust with.
