The Conniving is adorable and they know it, excitable and loud and full of adulation and praise. They want to know everything and are not hesitant in asking, and why is perhaps the most common word in their vocabulary. Behind the facade of ignorance and stupidity lies a mind that is not quite shrewd, but sharp enough to remember the details.

Their realm is green hills bracketing a large lake, campsites and tire swings and so, so much food. An eternal picnic, a neverending barbecue. It is a popular destination for parties and get togethers, which also serves as an excellent place to overheart precious information that might slip.

At first glance, The Conniving serves no one, bound by no allegiances to any particular cause. Their true bond is with Chaos, as one of his most trusted agents of espionage, but Ember is aware of the Conniving's machinations and only feeds them information they want to leak. It has been this way for millenia, and will be this way for a millenia more.
