In order to make a Guaridan MYO you will need a Guaridan Ticket, also called a Guardian Shard,
(obtainable through events and most commonly from Job Classes) and a Stygian that you own to bless the jar!
Optional (but recommonded) is a second Stygian (owned by you or another user) to also bless the jar.
CREATING YOUR GUARDIAN JAR:
CHOOSING YOUR JAR TRAITS:
After successfully submitting your Blessing Choices and your Guardian Ticket you'll have created a Guardian Jar that will show up on your profile page. Under the image of the Guardian Jar you'll find you list of rolled trait slots:
- These are the number of traits (for each rarity) that your new Guaridan can inherit from their Blessing Stygian. (The Blessing Stygian will be listed below the trait list)
- The alt for used when the Guardian was blessed (rolled) will be the alt form that influences the Guardian. Only the subspecies and traits from that form can be passed on to the Guardian.
- Choosing your Subspecies: If the list says "Inherited" your Guardian can inherit the subspeices of one of their Blessing Stygian (only from the alt form that blessed the jar) or they can choose to be Regular subspecies.
- All Guardians can choose to be the Regular subspecies (regular sized or mini) regardless of blessing subspecies.
- Primordial Blessings do not pass on the Prirmordial Trait (and therefore the Primordial Subspecies). They will only pass on the the base subspecies.
- For Common Traits: Any non-restricted common trait can be inherited, regarless of the traits the blessing Stygian have.
- For Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary Traits: The new Gaurdian can only inherit traits listed in the Blessing Stygian's trait lists (for the alt form that blessed the jar).
- For example, the Halo trait can be inherited only if my jar has 1 Rare trait slot and one of the blessing Stygian has the Halo trait.
- If your jar only grants 1 Rare trait, then you can only inherit one rare trait from the blessing Stygian. Any extra rare traits would need to be applied with potions. Same for any extra common, uncommon, or legendary traits.
- You can add potions to a Guaridan as well, for extra traits!
- There are a few traits that cannot be passed down from Blessings to Guardians. These include Guaridan Traits (cannot be directly inherited; see below) and some Restricted Traits. Be sure to check the Trait Information Page, especially for restricted traits.
- There are special Guardian traits that Guardian Stygian can unlock or inherit the time of their creation. The list of Guardian Traits can be found HERE.
- These potions can be bought in the Item Shop, the Explorer Shop, earned in various events and games, or won as prizes in Special Events.
- You can only apply these potions to a new Guaridan if the Blessing Stygian awakening your Guardian have the required traits.
- For example, if you'd like to apply Body Rings, the Blessing Stygian will need to have Weapon Mastery and Halo in their traits (either on one or both).
- These inherited Guardian Traits will take up a Rare trait slot on your jar's alloted traits.
- For example, if you roll a Guardian Jar with 2 uncommon and 2 rare slots, picking a Guardian Trait will take up one of the rare trait slots.
- You will still need a potion when inheriting a Guardian Trait.
- For summary: To apply a Guardain Potion to a new jar, it requires: Blessing Traits for unlock + Rare Trait Slot (rolled or bought) + Guaridan Potion.
- Animate Weapons Mastery can count as Weapons Mastery, and Large Animal Companion can count as Small Animal Compaion for trait unlocks.
- The reverse, however, is not true. Weapons Mastery cannot unlock traits that require Animate Weapons Mastery, for example.
- Guardian Traits cannot be directly passed down to Guardian Jars.
- Guardian Traits themselves do not contribute to unlocking Guardian trait slots.
LOW LUCK GUARDIAN SLOT ADDON:
- If you get unlucky and do not roll ANY rare traits (but the Blessings(s) for sure have the rare traits required for the Guardian potion), you can now purchase a Guardian slot unlock. The conditions are:
- Your Guardian jar has NO rare traits unlocked.
- Your Guardian jar progenitors (the Stygian used on site to create the jar) have the rare traits required from the list above. For example, if you want to purchase Guardian body rings, one of the creating Stygian must have Halo and Weapon Mastery (either one has both or one has each).
- You have 30 shadow tokens, which will be removed from your inventory when you submit the Guardian MYO form. Please indicate on the form (in the comments section) that you wish to purchase the slot.
- This is for an unlock only to give those a chance who wouldn't normally be able to get a Guardian trait. You still need to have or buy the Guardian potion to apply!
- This cannot be purchased if you do not fulfill any of the conditions above. That means you cannot buy this if you already have a rare trait unlocked, or if the Blessings don't have the Guardian traits required.
