Solace and Discord, or simply SAD.

Their Nightmare is either the brightest day or the darkest night. There are no in-betweens, only two states of being.

Even if it's one body, the two halves can and typically speak separately. At daytime in their kingdom, only Discord, the blue half, is visible. The other shares the colour of the kingdom, perfectly blending in with it.

At nightime, only Solace, the yellow half, is visible. The other half bears the colour of night, thus being camouflaged by it.

As a result, while in their kingdom, they only appear as half a Stygian. An unshakeable illusion. One they try to maintain outside of it as well.
