Father of light
Father of death

Sermon of death says Jupiter is the loneliest planet
Jupiter is willful and smug, but not evil. To himself and those he favors, luck will flow in the form of wealth. To those he despises, their wealth will run dry. He seeks a balance where those who need coin to put food on the table will be able to live in comfort, but those who would hoard and commit evil with their riches will fall and suffer.
Of course, it's not that easy. Jupiter isn't all seeing or all reaching, and so there are those who fall just outside his shadow and resent him for it.
In the end, he struggles as an icon of an inherently cruel system, but his mere existence upholds the system because of the greed of man. This has instilled in him an inherent cruelty that he hides with a cheerful facade-- a defense against those who would hunt him.
Say it with faith
Say it with force
Say it to my face
Put me in place
