[ Knife Throwing! ] [ MYO-976 ].

 

[ ABOUT YOUR BOOTH ]:

As you wander the Floresctival, you spot a shadowy figure in a dimly lit booth. Though the Stygian looks relaxed and aloof, it is clear he is cautiously watching your every movement through his long bangs. A row of identical knives are lined up in a perfectly straight row in front of him on the booth's flat surface, the bright silver of the blades faintly catches the light. The place is covered in knife decor and a few meters away stands a large front facing floresce target board staring at you with its crying eyes and open mouth. If you greet the vendor, the cold look on his face shifts into a smirk.

"Do you see something you like?" Han says with a flirtatious wink.

He notices your fixation on the sharp objects on the table.

"Oh, these?" He holds one up to the light for you to see it more clearly. It lasts just for a moment before he begins flipping it around dangerously in his hand with practiced ease. "They're for a game you can play to win some unusual prizes."

Returning the knife to its immaculately lined up placement next to the other blades, he catches you snooping through the prizes. Han narrows his eyes at you.

"Nosey little thing, aren't you?" He taps the table with an index finger. "Anyways, the game is simple. You take a knife and throw it at the floresce target. If you manage to land it in one of the appropriate targets, you get a prize depending on where you hit. One ticket gets you one attempt."

He gently drums his fingers on the table before pushing a tray of identical knives towards you.

"So, what do you say? Interested?"

Roll a 1: Bullseye! You got the floresce right between the eyes! You've won top prize. You get to select a knife from Han's disturbingly large collection of blades.

Roll a 2: Oooh! You were so close - an excellent throw nonetheless. You manage to land the knife into one of the floresce's sad eyes. You get the next best prize. A Guardian Trait Potion that smells... a little... off? Is it expired?

Roll a 3: A pretty good throw! You hit the floresce in the mouth. Han hands you a super creepy and disturbing daydream with way too many mouths as your prize.

Roll a 4: Not bad! You manage to hit one of the floresce's fins. You've received a stat reroll die with watchful eyes for pips. 

Roll a 5: You hit the board but not the floresce. Eh, could be worse - you could have missed the board entirely. You're given a ... treat tail? Why does Han have this?

Roll a 6: What was that? How are you this weak? The knife doesn't even make it to the target and lands lamely in the ground. Han gives you Red Herring Bait for your sad attempt.
