Murke is a miniature stygian fascinated with monsters and madness. Don't let her tiny fluffy appearance fool you. Inside is a dark, dark creature. Despite this Murke is very friendly, especially to those that also enjoy the macabre or have unique, monstrous or disturbing in appearance. Though she is friendly, Murke doesn't speak much and can come off as a bit calm and stoic on first appearance. This is not the case. It's mostly that Murke speaks very little and communicates mostly through gestures, writing and art. 

In fact, Murke has a book review column called Queen of Monsters which she critiques books that contain monsters or magical creatures. She's quite passionate about it. Due to her passion for monsters, Murke can be often reckless, having no qualms about approaching the unknown. Sometimes this has worked well and sometimes not.
