Mudo is unable to talk, but he really wants to. The only sound he seems to make is a fizzing sound. Some say it sounds like rain, some think it's like a hissing snake and others think it's like TV static. This sound is all that's left of his voice.

He stares at others very often, and while this may be unnerving to most, what he is usually trying to do is tell them something, or ask a question.

Mudo is kind and caring, and worries a lot about his friends. He normally tried to make sure everything around him is looking happy and healthy, and will go out of his way to try and fix any kind of issue, from a tiny scratch to a broken bone, he'll do everything he can to help.

His Nightmare Realm, The Silent Crater, has a self-explanatory name, and can be entered by willing yourself into it. How that works is unknown, but you know you've made it because you'll suddenly stop hearing the outside world. If you already can't hear the outside world, you'll start hearing your own heartbeat.

It's always nighttime in the crater, and there's no sound in there. You could hear yourself talk, but no one would be able to hear you, and you wouldn't be able to hear anyone else. The air feels stagnant and heavy, but it is breathable, and after a while you'll get used to it. Upon returning to normal air you'll feel oddly light and breathless, like there's no air anymore. It's a strange feeling, but never deadly if you keep your cool.

The Silent Crater sits in a rather large area, surrounded by tall, jagged rock that curves inward at the top, making it impossible to climb out. Inside the crater, there's a small-ish lake, where all kinds of Floresce live. Only Floresce, as decided by Mudo, since other fish would likely eat them all in a few minutes. 

The surface of the water is clear, allowing anyone to see into the main chamber of the lake, which is blindingly bright in comparison with the rest of the realm with its limestone-looking walls emitting a dull white glow. The water lacks any kinds of currents, so swimming in it is easy and relaxing. Looking into it, no so much, as the lake is infinitely deep, and has many cave systems, but none of them actually lead outside the realm. The cave systems bave dark rock walls unlike the main lake, and it's easy to get lost if you go too deep, so Mudo is heavily against exploring those, and takes many precautions to make sure visitors and Floresce alike won't accidentally wander into the void and be lost forever.
