⛤ The Village ⛤
A ‘giant’ realm, where visitors appear roughly the size of a mouse in comparison to the surroundings, with the appearance of a dark medieval village occupied by monstrous beasts. These creatures, called the 'Residents' in The Village's official documentation, are hunched troll-like beings that actively hunt the dreamers, and can be heard discussing ‘rats’ among themselves while they hunt.

The village is bordered on every side by a dark forest, lit only by tiny blue flames. This forest will reroute visitors back into the village no matter how carefully they walk through it. The village consists of a few houses, a river with a water mill, a field of some unknown mutant crop, and collosal hounds that assist the Residents in hunting down dreamers. Human skeletons that match the size of the dreamer are scattered about the dark disheveled homes of the Residents, littering their kitchens and caught in spiked mousetraps.

Any one of the Residents can- and will- act as a "Kick" and will perform consistent routing behavior the instant the dreamer is captured; they will walk to their home, light a fire in their stove, boil water, and place the dreamer on a chopping board. The Kick activates the moment they swing down at the dreamer with a massive butcher's knife.
