Saiph is a renowned historian who chronicles the deeds and legends of Treatlings so that they will be preserved against the flow of time. He taught many groups of Treatlings in the past as a greatly respected scholar. He wishes to record an unbiased history, and for that end the Queen wants him dead. He is currently hiding out in the Nightmare Realm and observing Treatropolis from afar through his bird familiars.
