Aeon is a seasoned explorer who has traveled widely within the Dream and Nightmare realms. He is also a member of the Starbound Court, a group of Stygians and Treatlings who weave dreams and nightmares related to the stars and space. He is the current holder of the Seat of Aries, as the Pioneer, though he has taken a temporary leave of absence. As per court custom, he is known by his title instead of a name when acting in his capacity as the Pioneer.

He is rather relaxed and composed, and easily adapts to changing situations. He is always on the lookout for new experiences or places to explore, and enjoys meeting new people to know their stories. He can get very enthusiastic when speaking about his favourite topics and the dream of space exploration that he was created from. Despite his friendly manner, he doesn't reveal much about himself and avoids making permanent attachments, as a traveler is always on the move and he can't afford to get tied down. He is used to wandering alone and is self-sufficient on his journeys, but he's also willing to travel with companions as long as they know how to survive properly.

He lost a dear companion long ago and has been searching for him since. It has been many years but he does not give up in the slightest.
