The Innovator is a member of the Starbound Court, a group of Stygians and Treatlings who weave dreams and nightmares related to the stars and space. He is the current holder of the Seat of Libra, and also the newest member of the court. As per court custom, he is known by his title instead of a name.

Born from a dream of the future, he is fascinated with machines and spends most of his time working on new devices for various (and sometimes whimsical) functions. His calm and logical personality makes him suited for solving problems from a pragmatic perspective. He is also the primary engineer behind most of the Court's tools and ships. He can get very absorbed in his work, forgetting to eat or rest for days, needing others to remind him to take breaks.
