"Eyes like broken Christmas lights"

The holidays are a series of celebrations that seek to lift spirits in the colder and harsher winter months, but oftentimes there is a darker side to the attempt. People are burnt out, exposed to unpleasant relations, left with little to nothing in their bank accounts trying to meet the expectations of the season. This is the sentiment Skel was born from and how he sees the holidays. Anyone who tries to convince him otherwise can expect to meet with misfortune, especially if they should they try to host a festive get-together. His ornament friends are more than decorative baubels, and are able to sneak into most celebrations unnoticed. Though, they may need to have instructions repeated to them more than once to finally get it right.
