The Mariner is a member of the Starbound Court, a group of Stygians and Treatlings who weave dreams and nightmares related to the stars and space. They are the current holder of the Seat of Aquarius. As per court custom, they are known by their title instead of a name.

A sailor at heart, they find great joy in traversing the seas of water and stars. They have a keen intuition for navigation and is usually in charge of piloting the Court's starships. Their outgoing nature lets them buid camaraderie quickly and they can get along with almost anyone. Dauntless in the face of adversity, they quickly improvise and adapt to changing situations.
