Once upon a time, a human made a wish. That wish became a nightmare, and from that nightmare, a Stygian was born. Even if her origin is long gone, Zhurong continues to endure. The remnant flames of a dying star that refuses to fade away - one who lives passionately and without regrets.

She is one of TEL's students and trained under him during his time as the Conqueror. She was wounded while protecting him in battle, so he reforged the arrows that struck her and gifted them to her as weapons. After the disappearance of her mentor, she continued to protect the Nightmare Tree, and was eventually given a Branch of her own.

Currently, she lives in her Kingdom most of the time, retired from her life as a soldier. She is known as the 'Witch of Flames' to younger Stygians who might seek her out for guidance or power. While she is not malicious, she can be quite strict with her pupils, as she wants them to become resilient and overcome the hardships of the world.
