with an innocent, girlish demeanor, melea is often loved by everyone she meets. she's playful and bubbly and knowledgable in all the ways of apples. she has a mishcievous streak that often seems childish, but this itself is a coverup for the fact that she enjoys it when people don't take her seriously. it means she has the upper hand when she needs to be crafty. 

though she lives close to the city, she has a risky relationship with a stygian. her girlfriend, salacia (d-264) is unable to visit, but melea isn't shy about making trips into the nightmare realm to see her. some might wonder what she sees in her- salacia is reclusive, gloomy, and her nightmare is swamply and muddy and basically the opposite of melea's cheery orchard. melea would simply reply that anyone that thinks such things about her don't know about her inner beauty and cleaverness! it's unsure how they met. 

her best friend, serras (t-332) helps her out as much as he can. though he's a little dumb and doesn't understand anything about plants, she thinks it's cute that he tries as hard as he does. he sticks up for her, and she sticks up for him. she's worried about the trouble he might get himself into under the new treatopolis regime. 

she's acquainted with some strange stygians like curaçao (myo-240) and pò jūn (s-233). though she's friendly with the both of them, she's not so stupid as to be unable to see that they're mutually using each other.
