Butane was born from dreams of missing socks.  In some ways he is like a gremlin, disappearing into the wall, taking things, and occasionally tearing things apart. 

Despite this, he is also easy to befriend. He loved pets and hearing how great and cool he is.  Once you have his friendship he will protect you and claim you as his own.
