Personality:
Quite the gracious and respectful Stygian, Shoe treats all Stygians and Treatlings in his kingdom as though they were honored guests. As thought each was a king or queen that he was personally chosen to serve. He is charismatic and charming, quick to offer a light quip, a spot of tea, some biscuits, any other manner of amenity, and the best service one could ask for while in an ancient decrepit old boarding school. He maintains this friendly behavior even when treated poorly himself, leading many to believe him to be a harmless doormat.

Until their tea is poisoned, that is.
Shoe maintains his friendly veneer for all but a select few--Damian and now, more recently, Calanthe and the Herald--but under the veneer is something dangerous. Shoe carries several knives at all times. He is a master with poisons as well, and as there isn't any food or drink in the kingdom that doesn't pass his hands at some point, he's in the perfect position to make use of those poisons.

Shoe tries to keep up a confident and 'snooty' mask, but both fail when he is flustered, and he flusters with surprising ease.

Bio:
He was trained as an assassin and typically works as a butler. No one is really sure why his Kingdom takes the form of a derelict non-euclidean boarding school in the middle of a ruined city. But it does, and he cannot stand for it to be "messy".
His idea of "messy" of course, is every else's idea of pristine. He prefers cobwebs and broken glass and cracked tiles and boarded up windows.
