The Virtuosa is a member of the Starbound Court, a group of Stygians and Treatlings who weave dreams and nightmares related to the stars and space. They are the current holder of the Seat of Pisces. As per court custom, they are known by their title instead of a name.

A whimsical and passionate artist, they enjoy weaving ocean-based dreamscapes filled with lots of wildlife. However, they greatly detest humans for their greed and their desecration of nature, so they also enjoy putting sharks and other predatory creatures in their nightmares to hunt human dreamers. While they are generally pleasant and fun to be around, they also don't disguise their love for hurting humans and treat it like a hobby.
