The Goal

Megumi’s ultimate goal as a Diver is to figure out a way to make legendary Stygian with dangerous and harmful branches less powerful; number one on his list is The Child of Calamity, Lanayru. Despite no evidence to back up his theory, Megumi thinks these Stygian pose a threat to the waking world; nor is there any feasible way to weaken these Stygian. He knows that his mission is highly unrealistic and more than likely cannot be achieved but Megumi’s drive to protect others is vital, so he is willing to dedicate his time and energy to it. Currently, Megumi is starting to make his way into Lanayru’s inner circle, becoming friends with the Stygian’s most close ones. He surprisingly enjoys much of their company but occasionally feels guilty for befriending them for ulterior motives.
