In Character Abilities: King of Madnesss: (IC only):This Stygian is the original king of Winterspire. Though their domain of Winterspire has faded over time until it is nothing but an obscure nightmare, you can read about their exploits (if logged into the Stygians site), here. However, since this happened a long, long time ago, it is up to the owner if they wish to have their Stygian canonically remember this lore and expand on it, or have them slowly forget all those memories due to the descent of madness. (Note: there is a current Winterspire quest chain going on that alludes to forgotten memories of this Stygian - think of that quest chain as those Stygian visiting lingering memories of the past. Because of this, Winterspire quest chain quests from others cannot be included as skp for this one). Descent of Madness (IC only): Sometimes their madness seems more real than the nightmares around them, and to remember events that have transpired, they may begin to madly piece them together on papers and jot together their own rambling, incoherent trains of consciousness. What they do not realize is that anything they jot down may accidentally be replicated if it escapes their cache, to a much lesser degree and sizing scale. For instance, if they write about the eyes or shadows, eyes or shadows may spring up in a nightmare, but incoherent and incomplete. If they write about their grand castle, a much smaller less impressive castle may appear: ominous but ultimately, not quite threatening. These are illusions: they disappear themselves over time.
