The Stygian

Naydra is a quiet and reserved Stygian; he prefers to keep to himself and doesn’t leave his Kingdom much since he’s quite content with the company of his Daydreams. He’s empathetic as well but doesn’t act on those feelings to console or help others unless he is immensely close with them. The isolation of his Kingdom has led him to struggle with social interactions and social situations in general. He’s easy to overlook because of his quiet nature but Naydra is loyal to those who have earned his trust and would be there to help them in an instant. While he is content within his own world, there’s something inside Naydra that pushes him to seek something more than just himself and his Daydreams.

The Nightmare
Naydra was born from a nightmare of Forced Isolation. Isolation in and of itself is no picnic, but being in isolation against your will is something else entirely. Imagine being alone, away from everyone else; it could be the result of a natural disaster, being locked away, any conceivable reason. Being alone isn’t what you were looking for but it’s the hand you’ve been dealt; you can deal with it for so long but eventually the loneliness takes over. You’re left with fear, distrust, and perhaps a shell of what you once were. It wasn’t your choice; you didn’t want this. Now the only thing left to deal with is the lonely sadness that has made a home in you, but even then, the feeling has become familiar and habits are hard to break.
